I Heard Her Call My Name

My mom recently passed away and even though I am not a child anymore, there is at times a
sense of being orphaned. Mom was always there, always willing to lend a hand or an ear. A few
nights ago, as I was thinking of her in the middle of the night unable to sleep with tears flowing into the pillow as I was missing her to the point that my heart physically hurt. I really wanted and needed to feel unconditional love and I cried out into the darkness. In that very moment, I heard an unusual sound: a hooting, very close by from an owl. This was quite unusual, since we have not had such visitors here, but in another sense, it was the best way mom could give me an
unmistakable communication, short of appearing physically by my bed.

You see, mom loved owls, she had a figurine owl collection from all over the world and the owl
is also one of my spirit messengers. As I looked at the clock it read 12:12 am. I also took a
recording of this night song message and the title of the recording on my phone showed as 111.

The owl hooted for half an hour as I cried even more with gratitude as my heart melted, and I
have not heard it since. I knew it was mom singing me a lullaby: I am here when you need me, I
am always here.

Blessings to you dear reader! And may you too get answers to your heart's call when you need it.
